Terms of service
IMPORTANT: These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you") and The Dice Guys Ltd ("The Dice Guys", "we", "us", "our"). Please read them carefully. Effective for orders placed on or after 20th February 2026
1. ABOUT US
The Dice Guys Ltd is a UK‑registered company providing custom‑designed, made‑to‑order board games and related products ("Products"), sold directly to consumers.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By placing an order or approving artwork, you agree to be bound by these Terms and confirm that you have authority to enter into this agreement (including on behalf of a business, if applicable).
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not place an order.
3. NATURE OF OUR PRODUCTS
All Products supplied by The Dice Guys are:
- Bespoke;
- Personalised;
- Made to order;
- Produced specifically for the Customer.
Because of this, Products are not resalable, cannot be reused, and cannot be cancelled once production has begun, except as expressly stated in these Terms.
4. QUOTATIONS & PRICING
4.1 All quotations are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Prices may change due to:
- Changes requested by the Customer;
- Material or production cost increases;
- Exchange rate fluctuations;
- Shipping or customs changes.
4.3 Final pricing is locked only once payment is received.
5. PAYMENTS
5.1 Full payment is required upfront unless explicitly agreed in writing.
5.2 Work will not commence until payment is cleared.
5.3 All payments are non‑refundable once design or production has begun.
6. ARTWORK, DESIGN & CUSTOMER APPROVAL
6.1 Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, content, names, likenesses, spellings, logos, and approvals.
6.2 Digital proofs are provided for approval. Approval constitutes final sign‑off.
6.3 Once artwork is approved:
- The Dice Guys bears no responsibility for errors, omissions, or subjective dissatisfaction;
- No refunds, reprints, or corrections will be provided subject to applicable law.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CUSTOMER CONTENT
7.1 Customer Content You warrant that any content you supply:
- Is owned by you or licensed for use;
- Does not infringe third‑party rights;
- Does not breach trademark, copyright, or personality rights.
7.2 Indemnity You agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless The Dice Guys against any claims, losses, costs, or legal fees arising from Customer‑supplied content.
7.3 The Dice Guys’ Materials
All original visual artwork, graphic layouts, and production materials created by The Dice Guys for the purpose of fulfilling an order remain the property of The Dice Guys unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing. This does not affect any rights held by customers or third parties in their own intellectual property.
8. THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS
8.1 The Dice Guys produces bespoke products based on customer instructions and does not provide legal advice regarding intellectual property, trademarks, or rights clearance.
8.2 Customers are responsible for ensuring that any content, names, or materials they request to be included are used with appropriate rights or permissions.
8.3 Where concerns are identified, The Dice Guys may, acting reasonably, decline or adjust a request in order to proceed in good faith.
9. PRODUCTION & DELIVERY TIMES
9.1 All timelines are estimates only.
9.2 Delays may occur due to:
- Manufacturing constraints;
- Supplier delays;
- Shipping, customs, strikes, or force majeure events.
9.3 Delivery delays do not entitle the Customer to refunds, discounts, or damages unless expressly agreed in writing.
10. SHIPPING, RISK & CUSTOMS
10.1 Risk passes to the Customer upon dispatch.
10.2 We are not responsible for:
- Customs delays;
- Import taxes or duties;
- Courier errors beyond our control.
10.3 Lost or damaged shipments are limited to the value recoverable from the courier.
11. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
11.1 No cancellation is permitted once:
- Design work has begun;
- Artwork has been approved;
- Production has commenced.
11.2 Refunds, if any, are offered at our discretion.
11.3 Where a partial refund is agreed, it will reflect:
- Work completed;
- Irrecoverable costs;
- Non‑resalable nature of the Product.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
12.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Dice Guys shall not be liable for:
- Loss of profits;
- Loss of business;
- Loss of goodwill;
- Indirect or consequential losses.
12.2 Our total liability under any claim shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific Product giving rise to the claim.
12.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
13. FORCE MAJEURE
We shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to pandemics, natural disasters, supplier failures, or government action.
14. TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate an order or our relationship with a Customer where:
- payment terms are not met;
- abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour occurs;
- the Customer fails to provide required information or approvals within a reasonable timeframe; or continuing to perform the order would not be reasonable or appropriate in the circumstances.
15. CONFIDENTIALITY
All quotations, designs, and communications are confidential and may not be shared without written consent.
16. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
17. SEVERABILITY
If any provision is held invalid, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior discussions or representations.
